Silk Painting with Gutta or Outliner

Watch the video demonstration and learn how to use gutta and outliner on your silk. You will be shown the French Serti technique which is the main technique for all the silk painting patterns.

The Serti technique means to enclose or fence areas on the silk to contain the colours that you use. This gives you much more control over your pattern or design and is easy to do with a little practice.
